Leah Gundran Yumol Medical Expenses

Our dear friend Leah, 47 years old, was recently diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. She underwent surgery to remove the tumors in September. However, cancer cells were also detected in other organs and lymph nodes and these need to be treated with several rounds of chemotherapy and other procedures in the coming weeks and months . For those of you who know her, Leah is an extraordinary person. She is a cheerful loving wife, mother and friend; a kind lady who always puts family and friends before herself; an esteemed colleague; and a strong yet caring nurse to patients. Because of her illness, she has been unable to work and will remain so until she fully recovers from her surgery and treatments. She is currently on short-term disability which unfortunately does not provide full pay (of salary). Her husband is also not able to work full-time as he has to take care of Leah and their two daughters. We, her friends, appeal to your kindness and generosity to raise some funds to help Leah and her husband pay for medical expenses which are not covered by insurance and for the daily needs of her family.
