Leadville 100 Charity Entry Ticket

I grew up in athletics, playing sports, watching sports, loving sports. Shortly into my teens I lost my direction. I still aspired and knew deep down I wanted more. Sadly, I resigned myself to let life get in the way, let things that made being active more difficult. No longer am I allowing myself to live this way. Over the last year I have done more than I ever thought I would and searching still for more I have decided to go further. 100 miles further actually. May not seem like that much, but considering the elevation, the time it takes to complete, the endurance needed, it will be a lot. It will require all of my effort, concentration and give. Only the brave attempt it and I am. Only the strong complete it and I will. The race in question is the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race. As they say
"This is it, the race of all races. One hundred miles across the high-altitude, extreme terrain of the Colorado Rockies, this event was created for only the most determined athletes. Starting at 10,152 feet and climbing to 12,424 feet, you’ll be challenged to catch your breath — while the views try to take it away."
The upfront cost is $1345 due immediately, which goes to the race series and the Leadville Legacy Foundation which guarantees a spot in the race. The additional cost is a donation of $1000 to a charity of my choice. I will be raising money for the Herbalife Family Foundation, and one of the Casa Herbalife programs located in Tampa, FL. I am asking for you to share this with everyone you know. I am asking to help support me on my journey, and by doing so giving aid to children that need it.
Every dollar helps, every cent counts. The race is August 15. I will be training endlessly until that day comes so I will be able to finish and come home. My goal is to donate $1000 to the HFF Casa, but I will continue until the last day to be able to give as much as possible.
