Dad's Kidney Transplant Journey

Hello family and friends.. For almost two years, my father, Robert John Diaz has been recieving dialysis due to renal failure. Dad had years of undetected high blood pressure and diabetes and with time has injured his kidneys.
For two years dad has been on this journey of dialysis. He must go 3 days a week for up to 4 hours. Dad had to leave work after working a hard 30 + years. To date this is one of the hardest things dad has had to do, it's hard for him to cope not going to work.
This has been quiet the journey for dad, but going in to this, we did have hope, and that hope was Dad was placed on a Kidney Transplant List . Dad does yearly screening and remains on that list today.
We got word this week that we need to work dilgent to get the online education courses completed so we can move forward. It seems Dad is really close to a prospective donor. This is very scary, yet exciting for us ALL especially Dad.
With this transplant comes exspense. Dad does have pension and disability, however uncovered exspenses will get costly. And this is where we reach out to family and friends for a little help.
Upon the transplant dad will be away from home and at the Methodist JC Walter Transplant Center in Houston. He will be there for at least 1 full month. During that time, his wife will be staying. The donations will cover lodging, fuel, meals and incidentals they may need while in Houston.
There is also a possibilty per the transplant center that his Anti-Rejection medications will not be covered by his health insurance, these can be costly and a MUST HAVE. These donations will also help with these exspenses.
For the ones that know us, we're humble people, and don't ask for much, but this is needed and will be so greatly appreciated.
