Ava's Sweet Treat Fund

Donation protected
It is with deep sadness in my heart that I tell you that my beautiful niece was diagnosed with Type-1 Diabetes on January 27th, my sister Meghan's birthday. Their lives were turned upside down with the news that their precious 2 1/2 year old will have this the rest of her life. Meghan and Josh are very selfless, dedicated, and proud; and would never ask for help on their own so I am starting this account for them in secret. It is imperative that if you see this you will keep it a secret whether or not you give. But because of their pride, I will be the one to come out and ask for your help, any help. When Ava was diagnosed, they had to spend 4 full days, and three nights at Johns Hopkins learning the ins and outs of how Ava's life has changed. Her first month's worth of medicine cost them $250 on insurance. You can only imagine how these bills have and will continue to pile up. If you didn't know already Ava also has asthma, and uses her (Hippo) nebulizer fairly frequently, adding yet another medical cost. All of this has landed on the end of Meghan's maternity leave where she hasnt worked since the middle of November before Gavin was born.
Meghan and Josh have their hands full raising their three beautiful kids and this makes life a lot more stressful and difficult. And since they wont admit it, I will say it. Your help would be an absolutely amazing, selfless, and priceless gift to them. If you are able to give anything, as little or as much as you want to or are able, it would mean more than the world to their family. And if you can't give, just spread the message about them and keep them in your prayers and thoughts as they adjust to their new life. Your gift will not go unnoticed. Once we close this and give Meghan and Josh they're gift, we will show them everyone that contributed to making their lives just a little bit easier Thanks again for even taking the time to view this and remember, KEEP IT QUIET! ;)
