<div>Julie was recently involved in a hit-and-run while riding her bike to work on Orange Ave and PCH in Long Beach. While we are so grateful she’s alive, she has sustained significant injuries.
</div>
<div>She has has a fractured tailbone, but the most serious injury is a burst fracture of her L1 vertebra. To prevent any further damage or collapse, doctors need to insert stabilizing rods into her spine.

<div>Unfortunately, the mounting medical bills are overwhelming. Hoping we can rally together as a community to ease some of the financial stress while Julie is in the hospital and recovering. Any amount you can donate, big or small, will make a difference.

<div>Julie has worked at Ficklewood Cidery and, more recently, at Long Beach Beer Lab. I met Julie at Ficklewood around late 2021, when a friend and I started doing shows there and eventually became friends If you’ve ever been served by Julie, you know how awesome, kind-hearted, personable, and sweet she is —a true Long Beach gem.

<div>All funds raised will be transferred directly to Julie to support her medical expenses, which has already been set up!
