Laylanni's Crusaders

Laylanni Center is three years old and just recently was diagnosed with Leukemia. Mother, Germaine Center, is the hardest working mother of five. Most days, Germaine is found walking the hotel property helping her team, encouraging them through the days and always looking for opportunities to help. The hotel was blessed to have her apart of the team and has watched her grow in her role. While it is hard to believe she can have time for anything else, Germaine is mom to five. Her whole family live at her mother's apartment right now so needless to say things are tight. They focus so much of their time on education, helping with household chores and dancing! 

Laylanni is a typical three year old girl who loves Barbie’s, Shopkins and Minnie Mouse but she is not afraid to get her hands dirty and play with the boys. She loves ninja turtles and of course eating pizza like just like her favorite Michelangelo. She is such a beautiful girl. 

Laylanni was experiencing fatigue, loss of appetite and while most would write it off as being a kid, Germaine new something more was wrong. The doctor ran her red blood cell count at 3 and her white cells were at a 5. Her platelets were measured in at 20. She will undergo many blood transfusions, have bone marrow transplants and undergo chemotherapy. The family has come together to be as strong for Laylanni as possible but the sadness and heart ache felt is unlike any other feeling. 

We know the only thing that can truly make this better for the Center family is for Laylanni to be 100% cancer free. Until then, we know how we can help.
