Laying Nancy to rest

 
 
If you've ever met Nancy Shanjeree’ Keller-Thornton “Jeree” you would have known she was a very energetic, bubbly, deciated, spirital, and humble person.  Jeree was known for her hard work, she was a great people person and always strived for greatness.  Jeree was an inspiring school teacher who loved kids and everyone else around her.
Jeree was a loving wife to Montrell D. Thornton and a loving mother to Jervon (age 11), Montrell Jr. (age 6) and Brycen (age 6).
We're asking for donations on behalf of Jeree Thornton who was suddenly called home to be home with the Lord on September 5, 2018. Unfortunately Jeree did not have burial insurance and we're humbly asking for the funds to properly lay her to rest.
Here's Jeree story.... On Wednesday August 29, 2018, Jeree was diagnosed with stage four Lymphoma Cancer. While Jeree suffered from being in excruciating pain for months we,  her family traveled back and forth from Baton Rouge, LA to the hospital in Dallas, TX causing a financial burden upon us.  On Monday September 3, 2018 Jeree was rushed the Oshsner E.R. where she coded twice and drastically took a turn for the worst. After being admitted into I.C.U. Jeree unfortunately coded three more times. Shortly after various tests were ran and the family was made aware of massive blood clots in her lungs.
While at Ochsner Medical Center Jeree was given blood thinners which caused internal bleeding eventually leading her to go into a medically induced coma and later being  pronounced brain dead.
At this moment it became really hard on our family to cope with this time of hardship. We are asking that whatever may be laid upon your heart to donate to this very precious cause,  it will be greatly appreciated from her husband children, and family.
We will continue to pray as a family and stay strong as we continue to keep God first.
