LAYING MY ANGEL "ELAJHA" TO REST

On June 21, 2017, while traveling on the I-17 freeway heading home my two daughters and I was in a rollover accident that claim the life of my 16 year old daughter. On this freeway, with speeds of 55 mph the vehicle in front of us hit his brakes coming to a stop because of the vehicle in front of them... As I tried to avoid hitting him we hit the side rails and our SUV rolled several times before coming to a stop. My daughter that was in the back seat was slung around and suffered brain injuries that she did not make it out of. She passed away that night at the hospital. This has been the hardest and deepest pain I have ever felt in my whole entire life, and I've been through many things. She was a vibrant and loving young teen who could brighten up a room. She loved her music and family like crazy. Ask anybody about Elajha, I can almost guarantee they are going to smile somewhere within the story they are sharing because that was the type of impact she made on others. She had determination and strength like no other. And I would oftenly stare at her thinking, 'wow if she is this amazing and strong at 16, what will she be at adulthood'. Her older sister who was also in the vehicle at the time of the accident suffered mild cuts and bruising, and myself also. But we are having to lay our angel to rest, and reaching out for support in doing so.

We thank everyone for the prayers and support during this roughest toughest time. That is what is keeping us going. Seeing everyone pull together for a greater cause of sending my angel home to heaven. Thank you in advance.
