Our mother was a beautiful person in life and will remain to be a beautiful person in death; leaving 4 children and 1 grandchild to succeed her so far. Motherhood was early and so was her death, 47 was not a number I thought I would be mourning so soon yet here we are. My family and I are currently in a difficult legal situation that has seen our mum unburied for 4 months so far; I am also currently in the process of gaining legal guardianship of my younger sister who is 13, her birthday is at the end of next month and I am afraid that she will be celebrating her next birthday before she can properly mourn the loss of her mother.

I have started this fundraiser so that we can either cover the cost of the legal fees to have my mothers life insurance sent to a trusted party or just to cover the cost of the funeral itself; so that we can finally lay mum to rest with the dignity she deserves. Due to taking on parental responsibility for my sister our current property is not suitable and the tenancy ends in 2 months . Despite my own disabilities I’m determined to provide the best future I can for my sister.
