It is with heavy hearts that we share that one of our very own here at Dolphin Bay has been struck with cancer. In July 2017, Lawson Williams was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer. He underwent chemotherapy, radiation and immunotherapy. Nearly a year later, Lawson discovered 2 more spots in his other lung.
He is in for a fight, but if you know Lawson, you know he’s up for the challenge! Lawson has two sons (Lawson Jr. and Jeremiah), step-daughter (Sevelyn) and wife (Layla) that he loves with all his heart. His friends, family, coworkers, and loved ones are rooting for him!
Donation will go directly to Lawson to help him with this fight.
We will also be hosting a Fundraiser BBQ on Sunday, October 14th from 11-4pm. This will be held at Waller Park (Lakeside Terrace). Tickets are $20 and can purchase at EventBrite by clicking HERE. With each ticket purchase you will receive a Santa Maria Style Tri-Tip or Chicken plate and a drink. There will be music, lawn games, raffles, and more! We are encouraging pre-sale tickets in order to plan accordingly so please purchase tickets by October 7th. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event however, cash will only be accepted.
