Help Us Say Goodbye to Our Dad

The day after Valentine's Day, our father, Lawrence Thorne, passed away. Though he lived out of state he always made sure we knew he loved us. And we loved him as much as daughters could love. He was a hard worker who made a career out of driving trucks, and we remember well all those impromptu road trips he'd bring us on growing up. We like to think we inherited his work ethic, with Alexis, the youngest, now a new teacher and Samantha, his oldest, training to be a court marshal. 

His passing was sudden and unexpected. This campaign is to raise money to help us pay the difference so that we can bury our father and attend his funeral in Florida. 

Due to the nature of the campaign, we know we have a small window to achieve this. But we want to send him off in dignity and with pride, as he taught us to live. And we will update this posting with more details for all attendees.

The funeral will be held Friday, February 27 in West Palm Beach, FL.
