My name is Lawrence Ellis, and I’m reaching out with the deepest humility and urgency. On January 1, 2024, I was diagnosed with blood cancer. Just one week later, I was told it was stage 4. By that time, the cancer had spread to numerous parts of my body. For over a year, I’ve been receiving chemotherapy to fight this awful disease. As a hardworking husband and father to eight beautiful children, this news shattered our world beyond belief.
My only chance at survival is a life-saving transplant—but my insurance has refused to cover the cost. I am now in a desperate fight for my life, and I can’t do it alone. I’ve spent my life working hard to provide for my family, to love and support them with everything I have. But now I need help. We’re trying to raise money to cover the transplant-related medical expenses. Without it, my future is uncertain. With it, I have a real chance to beat cancer and continue being the husband and father my family needs. Please consider donating—every dollar, every share, every prayer brings me one step closer to life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion, your kindness, and your support during the most difficult time of our lives.
