Dear Cynosure-Hologic Family
I am sure you are all very aware of the devastation that is taking place in down in the great state of Texas. Unfortunately this devastation has hit right here at home within our Cynosure-Hologic family.
Lawrence Gonzalez is our MonaLisa Touch Area Sales Manager for the Texas Territory. He and is family; Sara his wife, Jacob (13 y/o son), Lauren (11 y/o daughter), and Caden (6 y/o son) live in the Spring Hill, TX area and they have all been displaced from their home due to it being underwater (as seen in the picture Lawrence was able to share with some of us). The Gonzalez family home was built outside the 500 year flood plain and like many in their situation in many areas of Texas they did not have flood protection in their insurance policy and by the time they knew it would be affecting their area there was no time to get a policy instated. More importantly Lawrence was focused getting his family to safety.
Not only is the Gonzalez family facing the devastation of losing almost everything in their home, they are also facing the financial burden of what it will take to rebuild their lives as best as they can. They are facing a very long road ahead of them to getting back to normal. If you are like me, you feel horrible for the thousands of families facing the same devastation that Gonzalez family is facing. We all want to help but are not even sure where to begin.
Through this tragedy we have all been afforded the privilege of being able to help in a very big way for one of our own family members. We have all been blessed financially to work for this company and this is a chance to share that with others.
Additionally, Brandon Roberts, East Coast Director of the Women’s Health, has challenged our family in a big way by PLEDGING TO MATCH THE FIRST $10,000 donated the Lawrence Gonzalez Family Relief Fund!!!
The full amount of funds will be given to Lawrence and his family for them to be used to pay for the demo and restoration of their home.
