Fuck You, Cancer

My dear friends, it is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that our very own Lauryn Bowerman has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and has more early warning signs throughout the lower stomach that are being treated. I know that this will come as a shock to most of you that haven’t yet heard, and I regret that you have to find out about it like this, but unfortunately, time is not kind to us and its much easier to reach more people this way. She is still in the early stages, and her odds are still fairly good, but the cancer is, unfortunately, starting to spread. In order to improve her chances, she needs to undergo a few specific medical procedures to remove all the pre-cancerous cells for testing to boost her immune system, followed by three follow up biopsies with hopes that will stop the metastasis for good.

This has to be done immediately, because with time, things can get worse.. And unfortunately insurance doesn't cover all these unforeseen occurrences.

We have decided to reach out to our community to ask for help in these desperate times. Any support that can be given, big or small, or even a share on social media, will make all the difference and would be appreciated beyond measure. In these troubled times, my heart goes out to all of you, whose lives Lauryn has impacted. And for those who cannot help in any other way, I ask that you only keep her in your thoughts, and close to your heart, and hope for a speedy recovery. We will keep you all updated as we find out more but our spirits are good so far.
