Make Laurie's Dream Vacation a Reality

One of Laurie's nurses suggested that once she is recovered and feeling better, she should go on a vacation and pamper herself. She said that she never would have thought to do that, but she thought a family vacation could really be something to "look forward to through all this - something to set her sights on."

 

When she was asked where might like to go, Laurie said, "Somewhere warm where I can put my feet in the sand and have a real piña colada brought to me." [This was in reference to an IV bag she thought looked like a piña colada.]

 

Laurie has spent decades of her life raising money and offering care to those in need. Perhaps now is the time for us to offer HER some of the same care.
