Laurie's Recovery Fund

Rencently our sister Laurie has been suffering from multiple medical ailments, bronchitis, pneumonia and severe all over pain. Finally after many weeks of suffering, she has been diagnosed with Guillian-barre syndrome. A rare disease that causes the white blood cells to attach to the nerves, leaving her in constant pain. Since being diagnosed, Laurie has been admitted to hospital and has had 3 plasma exchanges in an effort to remove the "bad blood cells" and produce new ones.

This treatment will be a long process and require care beyond the hospital. Being off work for weeks without pay has lead to additional stress and will not be good for her recovery.

This fund is being set up to help eleminate a little of the financial burden.
