<div>We are extremely saddened to share that our mom, Laurie Parkinson, was diagnosed with rare stage 3 lung cancer recently. After being diagnosed, she was full of her usual "Laurie" fighting spirit and ready to kick cancer in the butt. Throughout the last month, she has sadly suffered from multiple major strokes which have made her fight an even greater uphill battle. She is getting some of the best treatment possible and has an incredible support system of family, loved ones, friends, clients, etc.

<div>Laurie is an incredible mom and role model not only to her four sons, but also to the rest of her family and the L-Train community. She has owned her business, L-Train, in Larchmont for the past 17 years as a single mother of 4, doing the best she can. She is a beaming light of happiness, positivity, and joy.

<div>However, with these major setbacks, she is unable to run her usual classes and train and is without income for the foreseeable future. While currently, she is unable to be herself, she is determined to fight these major health challenges and get back to the Laurie we all know and love.
