Lauri Castro Funeral Fund

Lauri Castro was a good friend to many of us. She was a fellow student at Lincoln High School, she served her community as a Keywanette and she served her country through military service in the Army and for many years in the reserves. She moved to Seattle to become a teacher. Most indelible was her love of music. Sadly, her liver cancer progressed without hope for cure. Lauri's wishes were to be buried near her father in the military cemetery in New Mexico. The VA will cover the expense of the burial plot and marker however there are many other expenses that we, her friends will need to help cover because she did not have the resources for them. These costs include transportation of the remains and associated costs for funeral services in Seattle and New Mexico.  Please help us send Lauri off as she desired and deserves.
