Lauren T. Vitrano Scholarship

On October 9, 2017, we lost a friend, daughter, sister, colleague, and light to anyone fortunate enough to have known her. Lauren was a gifted and dedicated fourth year pharmacy student at UIC, a Kappa Psi fraternity member, and a member of the Rho Chi Honor Society. Those fortunate enough to have known Lauren knew her as a kind and willing individual who would stop at nothing to help others. As we struggle to grieve and come to terms with Lauren's passing, we have created a Memorial Scholarship in her honor. This scholarship will serve UIC college of pharmacy students who demonstrate financial need and are taking a special interest in mental health. Although Lauren is no longer with us, we would like to keep her memory and legacy alive by helping those in need.
