Lauren's Medical Care

My name is Barbara Fisk, I am writing about my niece Lauren Spencer. On June 3, 2015, Lauren gave birth to Bryanna Elizabeth Spencer, weighing 3lbs, 12 oz. arriving one month early. Bryanna is a fighter and is doing well. Unfortunately, Lauren is not doing so well. On Sunday, June 7, 2015 Lauren was released from the hospital. Lauren and her husband Bryan met Lauren's parents at a diner to have something to eat. Lauren suddenly began feeling really bad, complaining about excruciating pain in her neck and back. Bryan got her back in the car and headed back towards the hospital. When her condition deteriorated, Bryan pulled over and dialed 911. Lauren was taken by ambulance to the emergency room, it was discovered that she had an aneurysm in her neck that burst. Lauren went through hours of operations and multiple blood transfusions. Fortunately she came through surgery but the first few days were critical. Her husband Bryan has not left her side for one minute, saying to Lauren when you leave, I leave. He is a special man. One week later; as I visit her in the hospital, I realize what a miracle it is that I am having a conversation with her. The next year will be a challenge for the family as Lauren works to get her strength back. She will have to have care at home both for herself and her newborn premie. Lauren will not be able to go back to work for some time. I am asking for help for all of them Lauren, Bryan, and Bryanna. Although Lauren is a fighter, this will be the biggest fight of her life on many fronts, physical, mental and financial. Please help my niece and her family so that they will have one less thing to worry about. Thank you everyone for alll your love and support.
