Heading to the Big Apple!

As you may know, I have been accepted to study acting at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts this coming spring. I am so excited to have this opportunity! New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, primely located in Manhattan, has been successfully training actors for television, film, and theater for over 30 years. I was offered a chance to study there about three years ago and I turned it down. I have regretted that decision ever since. When the opportunity presented itself again, I had to say yes.

God placed a passion for acting in me at a very young age. While living in Wichita, Kansas, I participated in the Wichita Children's Theater and Dance Center for nearly a decade and was enrolled in performing arts schools until the time my family moved to Texas. I then decided to go a more traditional or practical route and put my dreams away. But the fire to perform continued to burn in me until I finally couldn't ignore it anymore.

While I have been awarded scholarships based on my audition, I will have other expenses that my financial aid will not cover. Please consider investing in me while I pursue my calling! No amount is too small! I am 100% clear; this is my calling. I have a passion for the craft and the art of acting so I also ask for your prayers while I step out on faith.
