Support Lauren at World Championships in Korea for team GB

Hi,

We are fundraising for our athlete Lauren Dunsmore who has qualified to represent Team GB at the upcoming WT World Junior taekwondo championships in Chuncheon, South Korea this October.

Team GB Taekwondo mission statement is “To provide athletes with confirmed talent, factual and logical support so that they can realise their full performance potential during Olympic Games, World and European Championships”

With its full time training centre in Manchester and Lauren travelling regularly there she has been identified and selected to be a part of the team which only very few Scottish Taekwondo athletes have been honoured with.

As a student athlete this trip is self funded by the athlete and their family. In order for Lauren to travel the costs are estimated to be £2000-£3000. To secure Laurens place we need to raise funds ASAP.

We are asking for help to support Lauren with this amazing opportunity. Being selected takes huge financial commitments, dedication, sacrifices and commitment. At the same time Lauren gives up her time freely to help with the development of her team mates by volunteering at her local Cumbernauld club.

So that Lauren can focus on training and doing the best she possibly can in Chuncheon, all help and support is greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thanks so much for your support.
