Laura’s Breast Cancer Campaign

Laura Nieman is a mother and a grandmother. She’s a fun, silly friend to everyone she meets. Unfortunately, until becoming eligible for Medicare at the beginning of February, she had not been for a mammogram in years due to not being able to afford insurance. About three weeks ago she went for a mammogram because she noticed that her left breast was starting to become deformed. They discovered masses in both breasts and moved forward with biopsies. The biopsies showed that there were tumors in both breast, but that indeed the left side was worse. They initially thought she was at about a stage 2 tumor. Under the circumstances that didn’t sound too terrible. She could beat cancers ass! Following typical procedure she went for a PET scan to make sure it hadn’t metastasized. That’s when they discovered that it had indeed spread and she is now considered stage 4. She has remained extremely optimistic throughout this process and she’s determined to kick cancers ass all the more!

Laura works part-time to help make ends meet since she’s on social security. Our goal for this go fund me campaign is to help her with the medical bills that this process is going to create and to help her with daily expenses as she will likely not be able to work as much as she once did. Any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated by both Laura and her family.  Also prayers, please keep the prayers coming because we know that we have a mighty big God and with His help she can beat this!
