Laura's breast cancer treatment

On August 9th 2017 Laura Oliver was diagnosed with Stage 2 Malignant Neoplasm of the lower-inner quadrant of her left breast. This aggressive cancer had formed a 3 cm mass which had to be treated with Neoadjuvant chemotherapy before a double mastectomy and reconstructive breast surgery can be performed. Her last day of chemotherapy was March 9th 2018 and has successfully shrank all the cancer mass in the area to an undetectable amount.

Throughout her chemotherapy her strength and determination was able to keep her working as an MA in the medical field. Sadly, in January she was instructed by her Oncologist to take time off to rest and recover. In an effort to continue her treatment she was forced to stop working until after her surgery and recovery time have passed.  With such a long duration unable to work and the extreme costs of treatment and medical bills, Laura and her husband Marty have come to a point where savings and a single income are just not cutting it.  

With these funds Laura and Marty will be able to pay off the rest of the medical bills and some of their living costs that have been difficult to keep up with at this stressful time.  Last year both Laura and Marty's coworkers and friends helped raise a portion of the financial burdens they had faced until that point. Unfortunately the expenses never stop and the surgery plus recovery time in the near future are looming.  With much support from friends and family they were able to make it to this point, but are now needing our help to make it through the next and hopefully final stage of this long and arduous battle. Since Laura and Marty have been getting by until the recent months without asking for outside help the urgency for any donation would be greatly appreciated. They have been trying to take all of this on by themselves for so long it is our time to help take on some of their burden.
