Laura's 30th birthday is right around the corner, woohoo! Due to the pandemic, she has pursued many ideas for how to celebrate the big day. Her initial goal was South Africa which would now clearly be a poor decision. She toyed with the idea of Puerto Rico, traveling close enough to home to an unpopulated beach area. Her next serious birthday dream was New Mexico; she loves hot air balloons, art, and culture. However, we decided traveling across the country while pregnant right now is also not the best decision. Which brings us to our current (and final) birthday destination....NY!
For my 30th birthday, Laura created a Go Fund Me in order for friends and family to contribute to the AMAZING time I had on an unforgettable 30th birthday in Thailand. Without that, we wouldn't have had some of our favorite memories from that trip. I would love to recreate that same experience for her.
We will be driving to NYC to spend the holidays with her parents and then getaway to a beautiful resort in the Hudson Valley. We are staying 3 nights at The Abbey Inn & Spa. Due to the high end nature of this trip, I would love your help to help make it unforgettable for her. This 'birthday package' - personal card from Postable (you should have received an email) and contribution - is also the best alternative I thought of in lieu of being able to spend the day with the birthday girl. Please do not feel obligated, but if you choose, I am aiming to raise birthday funds by 12/18 for her 12/28 birthday. Laura and I would be very grateful to you for contributing to the awesome room, massages, pampering, AirBnB ‘experiences’ of the destinations we weren’t able to get to, and a secret BIG surprise.
