Laura Vaughns Train Accident Fund

Donation protected
People are drawn to Laura’s radiant personality.  When we heard she was injured in the Amtrak train accident on December 18, 2017, our hearts hurt.  Laura was on her way to Portland to pick up a much-needed vehicle.  She suffered major medical injuries.

Laura is a Pastor’s wife and Music Director for her church.  She is a homeschool mom to six fabulous kids.  Her children age from 4 to 18, five of the six children were adopted from the foster care system.  She is a Director in her homeschool community. To make ends meet, she builds custom furniture.

Laura’s injuries will impact her business, church, homeschool class and family.  The medical expenses are unknown, as she will need additional surgeries and recovery time.

Ways we can help the Vaughn’s Family:

·       Prayer - God is the great Healer

·       Funds - Laura will need significant recovery time and will be unable to work.  Funds will be used to defray day-to-day living expensenses, especially during the holiday season.    Laura and her husband will have ultimate access to the funds.

I'm Beth, a friend and fellow homeschool Director, who works with Laura.  I've known her for several years.
