Laura Hudgeons, a devoted wife, trusting friend, and amazingly dedicated teacher to her
students and parents, suffered a massive hematoma on her brain from an accidental fall. It required emergency brain surgery, followed by a week in Intensive Care. She has spent
the last two weeks in a neuro rehab in-house facility for intensive ongoing therapy—
physical, occupational and speech. Today, she was able to go home, however, she will
continue her recovery in out-patient rehab at the same facility for the next several weeks. Her spirit and humor is absolutely incredible, along with her strength to recover from this injury. She will have significant medical and other expenses during this journey of healing. If you are able to help she and her husband, Terry, with any of these costs, it would be
greatly appreciated, no matter what the amount. Teaching is such a passion of hers—she
just wants to make be able to return to her life’s purpose of helping shape and develop
young lives at Old Union Elementary School. Your support and prayers are so greatly
