Support Laura’s World Ultracycling Record Bid

380km non-stop in aid of the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association

On 5th September 2020 41-year-old Dubliner Laura Grehan will bid to become Ireland’s first female World Ultracycling Association  record holder.

Laura aims to set a record for the fastest non-stop solo cycle between the most westerly and easterly points of Ireland – a distance of 380km from Slea Head in Kerry to Wicklow Head Lighthouse. This route includes 3,500m of climbing.

Laura will become the first official holder – male or female – of this point-to-point record.

Laura is seeking your support for this record attempt in aid of the Irish Lung Fibrosis Association (ILFA). ILFA is the national patient organisation for lung fibrosis. ILFA’s mission is to help individuals and families living with lung fibrosis, and the healthcare staff caring for them by providing evidence-based information, support and practical resources, and to contribute to awareness, education and research in Lung Fibrosis. ILFA is an organisation close to Laura's heart.

You can follow Laura and her crew on Facebook.
