Laura needs your help, we are raising money to get her stem cell therapy that insurance does not cover but she desperately needs in her road to recovery!!

Here is Laura’s story:

In April 2025 Laura suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, my sister & I found her unconscious at home. She was rushed to St Vincent hospital in Indianapolis, IN. There we were told about the aneurysm rupture, that required emergency coiling surgery to stop the bleeding. She was in Indy for over 2 months , in that time she underwent two surgeries to secure the brain aneurysm , suffered two strokes and ended up on ventilator and trach , which she was eventually weaned from!

The mortality rate for ruptured brain aneurysms is about 50% …she’s beat those odds!

Now it’s on to recovery !!

Since June, we’ve been working on rehabilitation. She has lost cognitive function, short term & long term memory loss, loss of mobility ,impaired speech, feeding tube. Since starting therapies her speech has improved dramatically, going from only a few mumbled words to now being able to carry a conversation, though she is still working on it! She can now walk short distances, and we are working on gaining progress on eating .

Where the stem cell therapy comes in:

Laura has made extraordinary strides from where we started , cognitively and neurologically she still needs help though. It’s like it’s all in there but just missing a connection.

We have done immense research on stem cell therapy and how it can regenerate dead tissues, repair neurological function . We’ve read clinical studies, talked to doctors , stem cell clinics themselves and heard testimonials on how it has worked miracles for patients with similar stories to our moms! We would do anything for our mother to get well, between my sister and I she has 6 grandkids counting on her recovery! They need their Nana, we need our mom! She is only 65 years old, she has so much more life to live and grandkids milestones to be apart of! We will continue to fight to get her treatments she needs!!

The money we are raising here is for her to receive stem cell therapy from R3 therapy out of Nashville , TN. She was approved as a good candidate to receive stem cell therapy with them and should only need one round of treatment . Laura has insurance , however stem cell therapy is NOT covered under insurance at all! If we meet our goal set here, we can pay for her treatment !
