Laura Combs Family

Laura Anne Combs beloved daughter, sister, mother, cousin and friend passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2020. She was born July 28, 1989 in Greensboro, NC. Laura is the daughter of Sharon and Chris Combs, a sister to Adam/Kate Combs and Sean Hildebrandt, the mother of Kinsley Hildebrandt and a fiancé and best friend to John Hildebrandt.

This fundraiser was started and will be managed by Adam, Laura’s brother, who will ensure that expenses are distributed to help cover the costs of the funeral memorial, cremation services, and other expenses related to the sudden family loss. 

We all ask for forgiveness in our final moments, if not from our creator, then from friends and love ones. Their under the breath requests are heard with feelings. Your reluctant gated guard defeated from a siege of love. Overwhelming waves of it challenging your compassion. Seeking out your buried memories of them to confront and to cherish. Just as this season commands change, so must we accept it. Laura always looked forward to this season. The season which new colors show off her excitement of friends and family gathering in the warmth of their embrace. Her absence from these gatherings will be missed but not forgotten. Her laugh and  her excitement are forever with us. Bursting through her daughter, Kinsley which Laura and John have gifted us. We will forever see Laura in her. This act of remembrance will be our greatest gift to them and ourselves.

A memorial service for family and friends will be conducted at 2 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at their church; The Bridge (1080 Snow Bridge Ln, Kernersville, NC 27284), in the main sanctuary.
