Launching New Venue

Hello friends,  Gentle (me) and JJ  are working to create a new space combining the attributes of our former locations; The Triple Nickel Tavern and Zodiac Venue/Bar. We were shut down by COVID and rent increases.  After providing drinks and entertainment in downtown Colorado Springs for over 14 years at The Nickel, and at the Zodiac for over 9, it was heartbreaking to lose our businesses.  We have found a building to rent out and we think it will work great. We can continue to book shows and have a great alternative bar for all us weirdo, artists, musicians and more.  We have signed a lease and are trying to build a new bar practically from the ground up.  In this new space we will be able to have two events simultaneously. One upstairs and one down. We can serve up drinks AND some food items separate from the performance area. We are quite excited, but need some help. We need assistance affording the liquor board, city planning, building supplies, and insurance fees. 
   We are thrilled at being able to continue bringing blue collar entertainment to and from the seedy underbelly of Colorado Springs. There will be some changes, but we're bringing as many staff from both venues as want to join us. We will provide down town with 555/Zodiac style shows, friends, and welcoming new imports to Colorado Springs. If all goes well, we hope to be open for business sometime in fall or early winter.
