<div>Across the United States, many veterans face persistent barriers to stable housing, meaningful employment, and long-term reintegration into civilian life. The causes are rarely simple—trauma, injury, disrupted family systems, loss of routine, gaps in support services, and isolation all play a role. While shelters and emergency services are critical, there remains a gap between surviving the moment and rebuilding a life. Lost &amp; Found Homestead Farms was created for that gap, built on the belief that housing alone is not enough. Veterans need structure, purpose, community, and time to truly rebuild. in 2024, the total number of Veterans who experienced homelessness was <a href="https://www.va.gov/homeless/pit_count.asp" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">32882 per The VA</a>

<div>Lost &amp; Found Homestead Farms serves homeless and at-risk veterans who are seeking long-term stability and are willing to participate in structured community life. Through daily homestead operations, veterans rebuild routines, develop job skills, and create pathways to independent living while contributing to a sustainable farm operation that benefits the broader community. This program is designed for those who need a structured pathway—not just a temporary bed.

<div>Funds raised will cover essential startup costs, including paperwork, land acquisition, and legal fees to establish the non-profit and launch its mission. Our vision is a future where veterans are no longer trapped in cycles of crisis, rural land becomes a place of restoration, and agricultural communities provide both food and opportunity. Lost &amp; Found Homestead Farms aims to become a replicable model, creating a network of veteran homestead communities across multiple regions. Your support will help restore stability, dignity, and purpose to those who served. Please join us in building a future where every veteran has a place to call home.
