Launch: Hygienic Outreach of ME Bottle Program!

Hello, and welcome all to the beginning of the Hygienic Outreach of Maine (HOME)!
Our mission is to guarantee that everyone is able to access essential products for self-care and healthful living in Portland, ME. We aim to create a program that will directly reach out and aid those most at risk in the city by offering refillable bottles of basic hygiene items.
HOME firmly believes that access to cleanliness is a human right. We are hoping to distribute pre-filled bottles (as well as supplies to keep them full) and packs of essential items to shelters and organizations throughout the city of Portland. We have also paired with several producers items in order to supply what is needed to keep the bottles full!
Sadly, as this is currently a one-person effort, this program cannot launch without support! We are looking to those in our community to gather for something we can all support- focusing on taking care of yourself!
We aim to use the most natural and hypoallergenic products when possible, while also taking in the direct request of the at-risk people we are looking to help.
These items are all packaged in travel-sized bottles in order to provide accessibility to those who are facing homelessness in the city.
These items include at this time (but are not limited to):
*Shampoos and conditioners- for adults, children, and babies.
*Body wash
*2-in-1 Shampoos and Body Washes
*Dry shampoos (for those without water access)
*Personal wipes and baby wipes
*Razors and shaving cream
*Toothbrushes
*Toothpaste
*Floss or dental picks
*Aloe vera (for sunburns and other first aid)
