As you may know, my family is very involved with Latvian Lacrosse. One sister is the Head Coach, another sister is a player/coach, and I am acting as treasurer to raise money for the Women's National team for the 2019 European Championships. With your generous support, the funds will be used for the team to pay for equipment needs, travel expenses, tournament costs, and general team expenses.

Latvian Women's Lacrosse National Team - European Championships
Since the Latvian National Women’s Lacrosse Team was founded in 2011, we have made incredible strides. We are looking to build upon our previous tournament successes at this summer’s 2019 European Championships, in Netyana, Israel.
We are a group of women - students, mothers, teachers, employees - who share a love for the game of lacrosse, and a deep pride to represent our country on an international stage. While competing against the best lacrosse players and teams in the world, we will represent the spirit of Latvia.
But we need your help to get there!
While we will receive a partial grant from the government and the Latvia Lacrosse Federation, the amount covers only 35% of the total cost to travel and play in the European Championship. The purpose of this fundraiser is to lessen the financial burden facing the Latvian Lacrosse team on our road to Israel, much of which is currently covered by the players themselves. Every donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated by the Latvian team, their fans, and the nation; represented by the 18 women looking to compete against the World's best in the sport of lacrosse.
Please help us offset these costs and ease the burden on each individual player. Your generous donation will help our National Team members pay for:
- Field rental in Latvia for pre-tournament practices / training camps
- Transportation to European Championships in Israel
- Lodging / meals at European Championships
- Tournament participation fee
- Training and medical supplies
- Necessary equipment and uniforms
