Latvian Culture Center Fundraiser

Have you ever met a Latvian, specifically one who has been to Mezotne and/or Kursa?  If so, you know how special our camp is to us.   We attended as children, we developed lifelong friendships and everlasting memories.   It is vital that we preserve the camp's natural wonder and rustic charm to ensure a haven for our children's children, and forever generations, to discover their culture and to learn about what it means to be Latvian.  

The cost of annual maintenance is partially covered by renting the property to other non-profit and educational groups throughout the summer.  However, there is a financial gap and every year we find ourselves tapping into camp funds for upkeep and repair costs.  This year, we're trying to bring in a few extra dollars with a fundraiser.

Funds donated will be used to assemble gift baskets.  Tickets will be sold and drawings will be held during our traditional Summer Solstice Festival (Jani) in June.  Alternatively, if you are able to donate goods for a giftbasket or have a spare basket to offer, please contact me.
