What if you could participate in a high impact opportunity for people in India to be delivered from poverty AND believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior? Do you want to bring the kingdom of God to the oppressed, effecting change that will last and multiply?
In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus states his mission: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." We consider it a very high calling to join with Jesus in helping the poor in India. We believe Jesus would do the same. Would you like to help us?
We want to partner with you as one, sharing the message of the kingdom of God as the Lord goes before us. With your prayers and financial support, we are privileged to go into the dark places of the world with the love of Jesus and to bring people into His glorious light. Churches are being planted and believers are growing in the Lord. We thank God and thank you for being a part of what He is doing.
Our hearts have been stirred for the nation of India since we traveled and ministered there last summer. India is home to 1.3 billion people, but only 2.4% are Christians. It is also home to one third of the world's poor. The country lies shrouded by the darkness of false religion and extreme poverty.
Earlier this month I was able to minister again in India with a short but fruitful visit. God has given me a kingdom business idea to use my skills to help vast numbers of talented Indian workers out of a life of poverty by making beautiful and useful products for export to the United States and the United Kingdom. By God's grace, I formed a team of shoppers, skilled tradesmen, shippers, and liaisons to sell these products with established buyers in Chester, England and Raleigh, North Carolina. Best of all, a kingdom bridge is being built to share the gospel of Jesus Christ so that souls may be saved and discipled.
Much more work needs to be done. Kathy and I plan to return to India April 22 to May 6 and need your help to get there. We receive no funds from any missions organization or outside agency. We are trusting solely in the Lord through friends like you to finance this vision for overseas outreach. Once the kingdom business is established, we believe future missions trips will be funded.
Our needed expenses to travel roundtrip to India and within India for two weeks is $3800. We plan to minister in New Delhi and Andhra Pradesh, where we believe we can best help the poor, especially in the tribal regions. Your seed money will bring a harvest of souls as many are reached for Jesus Christ and the message of God's kingdom is shared in practical terms -- furnishing our Indian brothers and sisters the opportunity to provide for their families and to respond to the love of Jesus Christ. Let's bring the Good News of Jesus to the poor in India together!
