My name is Daniella and I am organising this fundraiser for my Mother Lainey. My Mother was suddenly diagnosed at the young age of 49 with Terminal Pancreatic and Liver Cancer at the end of last year. My mother started chemotherapy almost immediately and after a long battle and 9 rounds later she finished her chemotherapy in March of this year. Although my Mother was given only a few months upon first diagnosis, to our surprise we had some positive results from her recent scans and were told she would have longer with us. The chemotherapy has greatly reduced the size of the primary tumour and all lesions which we couldn’t be happier about. Although my Mum is still terminal we are happy to have some more time with her. I wanted to set up a fundraiser to take her on a last holiday and make some memories with her daughters and grand daughter. Unfortunately we don’t have the money to make this happen ourselves, with some kind donations we would love to make that happen. Any extra donations made after our goal will go towards funeral costs and we will also make a donation to MacmillanCancer Support. Thanks for taking the time to read our story, any donations would be greatly appreciated!
