Support paying artists/Larry Arrington No Quarter

Greetings, Beautiful People!

It's been a while since I've done any fundraising for my choreography! I've worked in modest ways for the last couple of years, but this summer I was awarded a three-year residency at ODC. It's a thrilling opportunity, but one that requires resources.  I’m coming to those of you who believe in the work I do, to ask for your support.


I am raising money so I can pay my amazing collaborators, myself, and production costs for performances at

-BAMPFA in June 2019

-ODC Unplugged in August 2019

-Full-Length Premiere at ODC in January 2020


I am over the moon about the projects I’m working on while in residence. The first piece, No Quarter, combines my two obsessions astrology and dance. No Quarter follows the movements of Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node’s time in Capricorn as they dig into issues of power, control, past, patriarchy.  I use dance and astrology as a mouth by which to chew on tough questions getting excavated by this very thick now. Dance and astrology are ultimately devotional practices for me and this work is an offering towards a necessary shifting.

This work is wonderfully(and rapidly)  spiraling into reality. The need for money and resources is becoming glaringly apparent. Up until now, I have worked alone. I want to start collaborating with others and need to gather resources to pay them.
