Larry Neering Memorial Fundraiser

Larry Neering was an active member in his community. He was known for his big heart, genuine smile, firm handshake, and willingness to help anyone who asked. We lost him suddenly almost a year ago, and a world without him is just not the same place.
This year, the Bay City St. Patrick's Day 5k Run/Walk, which Larry participated in for many years, is on March 18th, 2018, on what would have been his 67th birthday. A group of family and friends are joining together on this day to run/walk in honor of Larry. We will be wearing "Team Lar" T-shirts (available for purchase - $10 each for most sizes), and would love if you could join us for this event. Please contact Cathy Paeth for more details.
The proceeds from the T-shirt sales, and this fundraiser will go toward a memorial park bench dedicated to Larry to be placed at one of his favorite places - the county golf course. The monies raised will also be used to purchase a picnic table, engraved with his name, to be placed in one of the Bay City parks near the water, where he loved to fish. Any additional funds raised beyond our goal will be donated to the Michigan Special Olympics.
