Larry Hammel Memorial Fund

This page is in honor of my father Larry R. Hammel. He was diaganosed with stage four liver cancer in 2015 and was told he had only six months to live. In that time he had the chance to meet his grandaughter and out-lived the six month diagnoses, but lost his battle on 11-08-2017. He was not only an amazing father to myself, grandfather to my daughter,  but also a wonderful husband of 39 years to my mother. He worked for Pend Oreille County as a civil engineer for 40 years. He was loved by so many wonderful friends and family. 

We are starting this memorial page in honor of his love with the Newport, WA. Volenteer Fire Department in which he was a part of for 25 years. Any money raised in his honor will go directly to the purchase of new equipment for the young men and women of volunteer fire department.
