Larkin Surprise Trip to Israel

Jim and Diane Larkin have been associated with Community Baptist Church (CBC) in Montoursville, PA since the mid-1960's.  They were missionaries in eastern Indonesia for 35 years until their retirement and currently are serving part-time on staff at CBC, totaling 50+ years in ministry.

Some members of CBC are attending a trip to Israel with a group from Nov. 14-24, 2017.  It is the hope of quite a few members that Jim and Diane would also be able to attend, as a SURPRISE.  Undoubtedly, they have never have even considered this trip, although it would assuredly be a trip of a lifetime for them.  They have lived a modest missionary-supported lifestyle for the past 50 years and would never be able to consider an expense like this for personal relaxation and enjoyment. 

We will open this Gofundme account for two weeks only  (August 28-Sept. 11) because of the quickly approaching deadline for getting all the affairs in order.  This is not being handled through the church accounts because we would like to keep this on the personal level and not confuse it with mission trips or other giving.  If the goal is not met, we will refund all money.  Let's hit the goal though and give Jim and Diane a chance to walk where Jesus walked.
