After All These Years, Lara is Finally Running To Her Own Finish Line

Did you ever have a dream you had to put on hold because life, albeit a  good life, got in the way? 

I was on a clear singer songwriter track....an artist's life....the right side of the brain kind of life.  I was a writer in development with Warner Chappelle Publishing, an artist signed to A&M records, I toured with amazing mentors including Carol King, Peter Gabriel and the Neville Brothers....and yet.....


This voice in my head  - a voice that sounded remarkably like my parents's voices  that kept saying I needed to become a lawyer, an engineer, an MBA, a doctor - preferably a brain surgeon, anything but a musician.... I had to have something to fall back on....and well abandon, ....me.

So now after a brilliant music career in my youth that morphed into a brilliant legal and business career, after raising a brilliantly talented musical son into his college years while staying married to the same amazing man for the entire time, I have come back to.....me.

So now, new songs, new website, new plan.  And I need your help.  Help me prove that life after 50 can be everything.  

I plan to record the album, market and release the album, get the AARP to take notice of the album and put me on the road speaking and performing, telling stories about these new songs and my adventures.  I want to empower people, especially women of any age to re-visit their authentic selves.
