I am starting a nonprofit to teach kids to code. Needed: five laptops, incorporation fee, learning licenses and a router.
I have started already, I teach my classes every Saturday. The problem is the poor children do not have computers. Also I need two hundred dollars for the incorporation fee for non-profit in Alberta. I am not alone, some good people are ready to start teaching kids as soon as I run the nonprofit. I teach groups of five students so the exhaustive list is:
-laptops 5 x $300 = $1500
-nonprofit incorporation fee $200
-learning licenses 5 x $5 = $25
-wireless router $150
Total: 1875
We have a group on Facebook (Russian language)
I believe that education and digital literacy is important for the future of our children and all humanity.
