Upperchurch Drombane GAA club are inviting all cocooners, families & individuals to WALK, RUN, CYCLE any distance, anywhere on Saturday 27th-Sunday 28th June and help us raise funds towards or clubhouse walkway & astroturf area.
We hope with your help to reach a cumulative distance of 2,150km which is equal to The Lap Of Ireland

We will be posting local loop routes on our website(http://www.upperchurchdrombanegaa.ie/lap-of-ireland-route-ideas/) and also on Facebook in the lead up to the event and we would also love people to get involved no matter where you are in the world.
So get out and about and help us raise funds for what we hope will be a valuable community resource.

Who are we: We are an amateur community GAA club based in the parish of Upperchurch-Drombane in Co. Tipperary fielding teams in gaelic football & hurling from under 6 up to adult level. We play at senior level in both ther county Tipperary hurling & football championships.
How the funds will be spent: The money raised will be spent on developing a walking track around our club grounds in Drombane and also developing an astroturf area at the hurling ball wall to allow use in winter conditions. These facilities will be accessible to all members of the community upon completion. We are an amateur non-for-profit GAA sports club based in Tipperary. The money raised in this campaign will partly pay for this and the remainder will be funded through grants and a loan.
How the funds will be transferred: The money raised will be withdrawn directly to the GAA clubs capital expenditure bank account whereby it can only be used on development projects and will not be used on day to day running expenses of the club.
