Lance Khan Fans - Fight cancer with Lance!

At the young age of 19, Lance Khan has been diagnosed with cancer. He recently had a cancerous tumor removed that now requires chemotherapy. Sadly, Lance does not have insurance, but he most definitely has the resolve to fight this battle. Prayerfully, with both monetary and spiritual support, Lance will be victorious.

I have known Lance and the Khan family for almost 20 years, and I call Lance my “4th son”. He is a sweet and kind young man with a zest for life, but he is also a fierce, gritty competitor. Lance was practically born with a baseball in his hand and developed a deep love for the game from his three older brothers. The Khans have been a big part of the baseball community over the last two decades. You or someone you know have probably coached, cheered, played with, or played against one of the Khan boys. Lance may have been the youngest, but he followed step for step after his beloved role models by playing at all levels. Lance played for Lamar Little League, the Lobos, Twelve, the Houston A’s, Travis High School, and he just completed his freshmen season as a middle infielder for the University of St. Thomas.

Those that have coached and played with Lance know he is the most selfless teammate and by far, the best “hype man” in baseball. Now it’s our turn to cheer him on while he strives to defeat his biggest opponent yet. Lance needs our support! The weeks and months ahead will be challenging for him. We first ask for prayers of healing. Additionally, we ask for your consideration of a financial contribution to this fund. Any amount of support will be sincerely appreciated.

Baseball, family, teammates, and friends are the heart of the Khan family, but God is their cornerstone and ultimate Coach. The family knows He will love and guide them through this difficult time. Let’s show Lance that we, too, are a part of his team and will fight right along with him!
