Lance Higby has lost everything

Higby and I worked together at DVI and carpooled together for many years.  He eventually transferred to CSP Solano, which was closer to home. He finally retired last year after a very long and successful career. He and his wife bought their dream home and both closed escrow and moved in on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Within the first 24 hours they were evacuated due to the start of the Delta fire in the Lake Shasta/Redding area and their home was completely burned and they lost everything including their family cat. All they have is the car they left in and the clothes on their backs. Let’s help the Higby family during this tough time and show them CDCR love and support they need. I will make sure all funds go directly to him and his family to help them with hotel, food, clothing and daily needs. I can only imagine how long the process is until insurances are activated.
