LaNae Okken Medical Expenses

It is with a heavy but hopeful heart that I start this GoFundMe today. 

A few weeks ago, my dear friend LaNae Okken went to the doctor to figure out the source of some severe pain. A few tests later, they discovered a very large mass on her ovary that needed to be removed immediately. 

LaNae underwent surgery on May 23rd, the details of which I will leave private until LaNae wishes to disclose them, however surgery went will and she is recovering nicely. 

Unfortunately, even with health insurance, LaNae is now on the hook for the $7000 deductible, plus doctors fees, hospital stay, etc. Not to mention the money she will lose from being out of work during recovery. 

Many of you know LaNae was just recently married in October 2016, and she bought her first house with her husband Chris. 

An 11k+ debt hanging over a couple just starting out can be crippling. Not to mention the stress of worrying about that while recovering from this surgery. 

I am hoping to ease the burden of this by reaching out to everyone we know to chip in. I understand these are hard times for everyone, and that not everyone is in a position to donate, however even a share to spread the word is a huge step in helping us get LaNae and Chris back on track.
