Dear Friends, Family and Well-Wishers,

So many know of the unfortunate events that have happened at the beginning of this month.  For those who don't,  Lambert suffered a stroke last Tuesday (9/5/2017). He had a blood clot in his heart that traveled to his brain which lead him to have an emergency craniectomy on the left side of his brain. The left side of his skull was removed to allow his brain to swell.  He is still in ICU recovering to allow his brain and heart to heal.  As of right now, there is no timeline on his recovery. The focus right now is to get him healthy and out of the hospital and into rehab as soon as he's able.
Lambert Averhart is man of good heart and soul. Anyone who knows him can tell you, that he would give you the shirt off his back if needed, no questions asked. He is a very smart and knowledgeable man who works for a software company. If you ever had the opportunity to talk with him, you know he can hold up any conversation whether it be just small talk about weather or an explanation on how the world works. His laugh is also contagious.  As you’re well aware, anyone who suffers from a stroke of this magnitude is not left untouched by damage. He currently lost function of his right arm and is still a bit confused with his speech. With God, his wife, son, family, and friends, he will get through this but the unfortunate side to this, obviously is that Lambert is not working and his wife also had to take unpaid leave from work to focus on him and his recovery.  At this time, we'd like to arrange Lambert’s army of friends, family and well-wishers the opportunity to lessen the burden of this tragic accident that he endured along with his wife  Aurelia, Eric and extended family.  They need our help and support now more than ever. While the Averhart family has not asked for financial assistance and as humble as they are,  I want to take this opportunity to invite you all to join me in making sure  that medical expenses are the least of their worries during this difficult time. I  want them to understand how much we all love Lambert and are praying for his recovery. Please consider a donation to show your support for the Averhart family. If you can't donate, please continue to pray and share his story to your facebook or other social media so that it can reach others that can help.

Thank you again for all your support.
