Lamar Horsley- Hospital-Expenses

Every parents nightmare came to reality early Monday morning around 4:30 a.m. On May 22, 2017. Jalounda Beamon received a call that her 29 years old daughter and 9 year old grandson had been shot in their home. "This can't be real," Jalounda cried in the middle of street while waiting for her cousin for ride to the hospital. Instantly she was short of breath, devastated and heart broken! It was just two days ago a beautiful, sunny Spring day that Lamar played with his cousins and friends at his great grandpa's 80th birthday party that Jalounda had taken him too. The joy of being around family and friends could be seen in his precious smile. On Sunday evening after getting his clothes and backpack ready for school on Monday, 9 year old Lamar enjoyed laying with his mommy in her bed to watch movies. That night he didn't make it back to his own bed neither did he make it to school that Monday morning. Lamar is now fighting for his life in Emanuel Children's Hospital. Early that morning his mommy was attacked with gun shots! As she wrapped her body around Lamar to protect him, she was shot three times in the back twice in her arms and once in her abdomen. Lamar was viciously shot once in the head, once in the neck, twice in the stomach, once in the hand and the lost of his right eye. No one has yet been arrested or found for this hideous crime. Lamar and his family are in need for an entire new beginning, a new home, furnishings, household items etc. The family wants to thank you from the bottom of their hearts for all of your prayers, gifts and support!
