Lakisha Patterson Medical and Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Lakisha Patterson (a.k.a. Moneat) was born with a congenital birth disorder affecting her liver (primary sclerosing cholangitis) which has gradually deteriorated over the last 40 years. In the last few months this disorder has rapidly worsen threatening her quality and length of life, requiring medical interventions to improve and extend her life. While undergoing a recommended surgical procedure, her heath quickly failed requiring the surgeon to stop the surgical treatment. As of today Moneat has had all surgical treatments cancelled with a poor diagnosis, and palliative care (a multidisciplinary team that works with the patient, family, and the patient’s other doctors to provide medical, social, emotional, and practical support) in progress at a Hospice. Moneat is a single mother of three young children, and the family is in need of funds to cover child care, medical, funeral and other expenses as required. If you are able to contribute, any amount, the family will be extremely appreciative of your kindness and generosity.
